I worked for Expandite in the 1980’s where I oversaw the supply of sealants, adhesives & fixings for the Ohaaki power project NZ, and in Australia on the Sydney harbour tunnel project. In 1987 I saw the beginning of the polystyrene cladding era and the spray on Glamatex coatings both on ceilings and on the outside of the buildings. I therefore have a very good knowledge of all types of sealant use and water-tightness issues.
My business provides a professional service and over the past 10 years I have personally checked well over 1000 houses. We are happy to give our customers helpful advice and pride ourselves on friendly and prompt service.

Bradfords had a commercial branch specialising in large scale commercial buildings. I worked in many of the large scale building projects including the complete renovation of the Ashburton Club, the Ashburton Regent theatre construction and also industrial work when we built the new coal receiving pit and boiler building at Clandeboye Milk Factory.
Also included in my time at Bradfords was residential building, both new builds and renovations; concrete slab construction and erection and large scale, multi-stage commercial builds. I left Bradfords a few years after completing my carpentry apprenticeship through the BCITO scheme. I then worked for McIntosh Builders Ltd who at the time were more aligned with new house construction and also some renovation work. I worked on many new house projects including several that were entered into the House of the Year competitions.
In total I have over 11 years experience in the industry. I have worked in the many different aspects of building, both residential and commercial and also had experience in completion of new builds and also renovations in both areas.
